Trailer Park: Walker, Hoffman, Keneer and Northam Form A Late Quartet

Director Yaron Zilberman’s drama A Late Quartet stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Christopher Walken, Catherine Keener and Jeremy Northam as members of a world-renowned string quartet struggling to stay together “as they mark their 25th anniversary in the face of illness, competing egos, and in-suppressible lust.  And who will play second fiddle.  The great second fiddle of movies Phillip Seymour Hoffman plays the actual second fiddle whining and wanting to be first.  Hoffman is at his best when he is at his most offended, so this performance is guaranteed to be a stand-out.  Whether the Academy notices Hoffman’s “The Master” or “A late Quartet” will be the mystery question.

  1. This is considerably different from the last time I saw Walken in The Rundown with The Rock, where he is shot and killed at the end. Actors – they get to do anything and everything and get paid for it!

    Thank you,
